APRIL ACTIVITY HIGHLIGHT

Best Practices Explored : Politeknik Mukah's Benchmarking at ARC
12th April 2025
On April 12, 2025, the Academic Resource Centre (ARC) welcomed Politeknik Mukah Library for a benchmarking visit aimed at sharing expertise in library management, information technology, communication, and resources. Mr. Andreas delivered a concise briefing on ARC’s approaches in these areas, after which the visitors were given a guided tour of the ARC facilities to observe these practices in operation.


ARC Engages Students With Enriching April Programs
In April, ARC organized a series of activities and programs designed to enrich students campus experience and support their academic needs. These activities included the Information Literacy Program by Ts. Mohammad Hafsanjani, which featured sessions on Turnitin & Citation on 17th April with 17 participants, followed by Endnote& Mendeley on 24 April with 16 participants, comprising both student and staff.
A Canva Poster Competition was held from 14 to 22 April, attracting entries from 23 students. Additionally, a Canva Poster Design Workshop, conducted by Mr. Hassrunaim on 19 April, saw the participation of 15 students. The month concluded with an insightful talk titled “FYP, Research Project & Thesis: Made Easy with ChatGPT” by Dr. Rahamat Aidil on 26 April, drawing 44 participant from both students and staff.
